Turks and Caicos Weather and Seasons

The weather in Turks and Caicos is tropical and mild. The temperatures stay relatively the same throughout the year. The high temperatures are in the low to mid 80’s in the summer and low to mid 70’s in the winter. The island is more arid than other islands in that there are few larger mountains that can increase rainfall as in other islands.

Note that Turks and Caicos lies in the hurricane belt and is affected by hurricanes from time to time. There are frequent monsoons in the evening hours during the summer. The rain showers are brief and strong.
