Saint Lucia Weather and Seasons

The weather in Saint Lucia is warm and mild. The dry season runs from January through May. The rainy season is June through December. Saint Lucia receives lots rain. The rain usually falls in the higher elevations as the trade winds flow over the mountains. The rains usually happen in the afternoon and early evening.

The high temperatures in Saint Lucia range from the low 80’s to mid 80’s. The low temperatures range from the mid to high 70’s. Hurricanes have been known to hit the island on occasion.

The trade winds blow onto the island keeping the temperatures bearable during the warmer months. The winds usually blow from east to west. The western part and interior parts of the island are where the rain forest are.
