The average temperature in the rainy season is high 70s to low 80s. The temperature is a little higher during the dry season. The rainy season is from May through November and the dry season is from December through April.

The higher elevations receive several inches of rain a month. The lower elevations receive less. There is enough rainfall to support a few natural rivers that provide fresh water to the island.

Saint Kitts and Nevis lies in the Hurricane belt and has been hit by Hurricanes in the past.
