Water Sports – Diving and snorkeling are popular activities in St Kitts and Nevis. The water is warm and calm on the Caribbean side of the islands. Golf – The Royal Golf Club is the only golf course on the island. It is an excellent 6,911 yard course with plenty of ocean views and water hazards. It is recommended to book your tee times early as this is a busy course.

Historical sites – There are many great historical sites that offer the tourists a great opportunity to see historical island culture. Popular sites include Brimstone fortress and Charles Fort.

The Strip – this is a very popular beach located on Frigate bay that is packed with bars, restaurants and some hotels. This is the best place for tourists that seek island inspired entertainment

Eco Tours – There are several companies that offer ATV tours, jeep tours and bird watching tours. There are many natural parts of the island that are perfect for exploring.

The language is English but may be difficult to understand. The islanders speak a kind of Creole that is based on English but can be a bit difficult to understand at times.

The US dollar is widely accepted but make sure you know the exchange rate when paying in dollars.

See the Monkeys – there is a good size population of monkeys on the island. They are not native and thought to have originated form pirates leaving them behind. The will gladly approach tourists with fruits in hand looking for a handout.

Attire – Beach attire is restricted to the beach and conservative clothing is appreciated in restaurants and hotels.
