Eco Tours

Eco tours and adventure travel is very popular in Puerto Vallarta. There main attractions are the canopy tours where visitors can glide through the tops of trees on zip lines. These are very safe and very exciting. There are other eco tours like jungle exploration, snorkeling in the bay and turtle hatching and watcing.

Water Sports

There are many types of water sports available. Activities include surfing, Jet Skiing, Snorkeling, Parasailing, sailing and many other ocean cruises. Kayaking and windsuring are also popular sports when the conditions are right.

Golf

There are a few world class golf courses located near the town. There is a Jack Nicklaus 18 hole golf course along with a Tom Weiskopf designed 18 hole golf course. Call ahead before you leave for tee times as the courses are reserved well in advance.

ATV Rides

One of the more popular activities for visitors is to take an ATV ride or tour. These range from hourly rentals to all day guided trips through the jungle.
