The Norman Manley International Airport ( KIN ) located in Kingston and Donald Sangster International Airport (MBJ ) located in Montego Bay. There are other smaller regional airports but they are not equipped to hand larger international flights. There is a good bus service between the major cities. Many of the hotels offer limited bus service to pick up and drop off passengers at the airports. Taxi service is also available in most all cities and towns. The taxis are not well regulated by the government and not always easy to spot as they are not marked well. The best way to spot a taxi is to look for the red license plate. The taxis are cheap and easy to get once you know what to look for. Renting a car is also an option. There are many large rental organizations to choose from at the two major airports. Drive on the left side of the road. The roads are typically not well maintained and are narrow. Driving is an adventure in itself. |
