Ixtapa Reasons to Visit

There are many great reasons to visit Ixtapa and Zihuantanejo. Most travelers enjoy the warm tropical weather. The average high is in the low 80’s during the winter months when most visitors come to this resort. Most of the tourists are from the US and other North American locations.

Warm Water is another favorite that draws visitors. The water is usually in the 70’s and low 80’s and is very pleasant for swimming and other water activities.

The cost to vacation in Ixtapa and Zihuantanejo is less than comparable locations in the US. The seafood is fresh caught and tropical fruits are plentiful and delicious.

Ixtapa is a small resort. There are only 7000 or so local inhabitants and nearly all support the tourism industry. This resort is much small compared to the more well known resorts.
