Guadeloupe Beaches and Points of Interest

The largest of the five islands, Bassee-Terre is mainly rocky coastline with lush vegetation growing right to the waters edge. There are several good beaches in the smaller bays and coves. The remaining coastline is rocky and rugged.

The second largest island Grand-Terre, is much more flat and has many more beaches. The larger island is young geologically speaking while this island is older and not volcanic. The beaches are fine white sand and excellent swimming.
