Grenada Weather and Seasons

The weather in Grenada is tropical and mild. The high temperatures are in the high 70’s to low 80’s in the dry season and a bit higher in the rainy season. The dry season is from December through May. The rainy season is from June through November. This is also hurricane season in the Caribbean. Hurricanes have been know to strike the island so please check before departure.

Grenada and surrounding islands get 40 or more inches of rain per year. The rain usually occurs as thunderstorms. These fast moving thunderstorms form in the late afternoon and evening. The storms quickly move over the island. The storms typically last just a few minutes. The rain forests and more tropical locations on the island can get considerably more rain than the surrounding areas.
