Grenada is a lesser known destination than other neighboring Caribbean islands. The political instability is largely over and the government is making good progress in making the island a premier tourist destination. This means there are few tourists and crowds. For tourists looking for a smaller, less crowded vacation destination, Grenada should be a top choice.

Water Sports – Diving and snorkeling are the predominant activities for tourist. The island is surrounded by pristine coral reefs perfect for the novice and expert Scuba diver. Tour operators also take tourists on snorkeling adventures along with divers.

Eco-Tours – Grenada is covered by rain forests. There are several national parks created to protect the islands natural treasures. Many tour operators offer eco tours and take tourists deep inside the rain forest. Many brilliantly colored birds and other wildlife can be seen on these tours.

Agro Tours – The nutmeg industry continues to be a strong industry for the country. Several of the farms offer tours of their operations. Some sugar cane farms are still in operation to support the Rum industry.
