Title: All Inclusive Resorts in Jamaica

Search Articles  |  Submit Articles

When people travel to the island of Jamaica, they usually want to get away from it all. The largest island in the Caribbean Sea whose inhabitants speak English, Jamaica’s climate is a temperate one, with temperatures in the summer months around 80 degrees F and in the winter, around 70 degrees F.  The motto of many who visit and those who live year-round in Jamaica is, in the words of one of its native sons Bob Marley, “Don’t worry about a thing, every little thing is gonna be alright.” One of the best ways to have a worry-free vacation in Jamaica is to stay in an all inclusive resort. Here, the majority of the costs associated with your vacation – accommodations, food, and some activities -- are prepaid, allowing you the freedom to forget about money for a while.

Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa located in Negril is for adult couples only. Known for catering to honeymooners and romantic vacationers, Sandals Negril offers beachfront suites, whirlpool suites, and Swim Up River Suites, which are suites that, as the title suggests, allow couples to swim right up to the door of their own private hideaway. The all inclusive rate at Sandals covers accommodations, meals and snacks at the resort’s four restaurants, optional airfare, airport to resort transportation and back, sports, tips, and taxes. Expect to spend an average of $920 per night per couple (price quoted without airfare) as of June 2010. Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa is at P.O. Box 12, Negril, Westmoreland, Jamaica. Telephone (876) 957-5216.

FDR Pebbles in Trelawny is the perfect all inclusive resort for families. The most unique option at FDR Pebbles is the opportunity for families to select a personal nanny who will accompany their children on all daytime activities during their stay. The nanny can go with the family on outings or watch the children while adults enjoy some “alone time.” The resort also hosts a Kids Club, with activities specifically geared towards children’s tastes. FDR Pebbles’ all inclusive rates cover lodging, meals, and pretty much everything you could need during your entire stay barring emails and phone calls. As of June 2010, rates are about $230 per adult per night, and $35 per night per child age six and up (children under six stay free). Franklyn D. Resort & Spa Pebbles is at Main Street Runaway B, St. Anne, Trelawny, Jamaica. Telephone (876) 617-2500
