Cozumel Scuba diving and Snorkeling – The island is world renowned for its clear blue water and plentiful marine life. The island is surrounded by reefs that offer excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities. Scuba diving is Cozumel’s primary activity source of income for the inhabitants.

Mayan Ruins – Cozumel also has several archeological sites. The sites tend to be in the inner part of the island and are easily accessible by moped, car or taxi.

Water Sports – Common water sports including para-sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling are also available on the island. Most hotels offer some services for the tourists. There is a mini submarine and a glass bottom boat that will take tourists over the reefs to see the marine life without getting wet.
