Drive on the left – Cars drive on the left in Barbados, give right of way to the cars and vehicles on your right.

Fewer or no merchants – Most of the beaches are patrolled by police and do not allow the pesky street/beach merchants in most places. This is nice in that the tourist can sit and enjoy the beach without being interrupted

Less Crowded – Barbados is not as popular as other Caribbean islands. This make the beaches, hotels and other tourist areas not as crowded as other nations.

The people are great – the locals are really friendly and helpful to tourists.

Costs Less – The economy in Barbados is better than most other Caribbean nations. There is less poverty near larger cities and resorts.
