The Bahamas Beaches and Points of InterestThere are two types of beaches in The Bahamas, crowded and not crowded. The crowded beaches are near the resort areas while the non crowded beaches are just a few miles are more away from the resort areas. The closer to the hotel areas, the more services are available for tourists. The not crowded beaches have no services… but no other tourists. Listed below are some of the more popular beaches in The Bahamas Paradise Beach – This is a great beach located on Paradise Island. The island is not one of the main islands but does have the Atlantis Resort. The locals and visitors to this island and resort will find this beach is one of the best in The Bahamas. Cabbage Beach – One of the most popular and crowded beach. There are plenty of activities, services and cafes available to the tourist. There are no public restrooms but nearby restaurants and hotels allow the visitors to use the facilities. Western Esplanade – This beach is close to the Nassau Hotels zone. The beach is just a short walk to find a beach with brilliant clear blue water and soft white sand. There are several vendors selling wares, activities and food. There are restrooms at this location. Caves Beach – Another favorite beach for visitors in Nassau. This beach is less crowded than the other beaches in the Bahamas but has limited services. Cable Beach – This is he most popular beach on New Providence island. The beach is located near the major hotels in the area and great for families with younger children. Xanadu Beach – The most popular beach on Grand Bahamas Island. This beach is also great for families. Tahiti Beach - this beach is one of the more secluded beaches on Abacos island. There are very little services so bring your own food and water. |
