Water Based Activities – There are plenty of activities available to the tourist in Antigua. Snorkeling and Scuba diving are the main things to do. Kayaking is also available at most location as is windsurfing and parasailing. There are several tour operators that will take tourist by boat to more remove snorkeling and dive locations.

Sailing – This is an important tradition in Antigua. There are many opportunities to learn to sail or charter a boat to go sailing.

Deep Sea Fishing – there are many fishing boats available for charter in the larger harbors. The trips last from a few hours to all day. The fish are typically just offshore and there is not need to travel very far.

Island Tours – Many tour companies provide excellent land based tours. These include bird watching, hiking, ATV and Jeep safaris to the more remote parts of the island.

Golfing and Tennis –All the larger resorts have tennis courts available to guests. There are two 18 hole golf courses on the island and one 9 hole.

Antigua is one of the more developed islands, especially for tourists. The country is geared for tourists to move about, travel around and get to one place to another.

There are 365 beaches in Antigua. The coast line has many different geological features including many secluded bays, beaches and harbors. This island nation offers a little variation from normal beach only type geography.

This is a great place to learn to sail or charter a boat/tour. The island has a deep heritage when it comes to sailing.
