Trinidad and Tobago is an independent country in the southeastern Caribbean. The country is located south of Barbados and north of the Venezuela coast. There are two lard islands Trinidad being the largest and Tobago the smaller of the two. There are many other smaller islands that are part of this country.

The climate is tropical. The average high temperature is in the upper 70’s and low 80’s. The island nation receives quite a bit of rain. The geography includes a few high mountains along with smaller planes. There are many fine beaches all along the coast. Tobago is more dependent on tourism and there more developed for tourism.

Trinidad and Tobago’s economy is dependent on oil and petroleum products. Tourism is growing but not as important as tourism. There are many types of activities in the islands including eco attractions, bird watching and plenty of ocean activities.

The island is rich in culture and diversity. Many of the more popular types of music including calypso and steelpan. The carnival festivals on the islands is second to none and worth a visit just to see this event.
