All Inclusive Saint Kitts and Nevis Resorts and Vacations

The tiny island nation of Saint Kitts and Nevis is located in the Caribbean Ocean. Antigua lies to the east and Saint Martin lies to the north. The nation is composed of two islands. The largest island is Saint Kitts. It measures about 16 miles long and 5 miles wide. Nevis is smaller circular island about 7 miles in diameter.

Both islands are volcanic in origin and have extinct volcanoes in the center of each island. There are lush tropical rain forests located near the tops of each of the volcanoes. The rain forests support a wide variety of tropical birds, flowers and other wildlife including monkeys. It is believed that the monkeys where introduced by pirates in the 17 or 18th centuries.

There are several hotels on the island. Most are modest and reasonably priced. There are a few plantation style hotels and Bed and Breakfasts locations that where once used as plantation houses. There are other beach vacation homes and beachfront condos available as well.

Saint Kitts and Nevis attractions include water sports, diving, snorkeling, golf, deep sea fishing and many other types of tours. There are several tour operators that offer adventures to the rain forest, historical sites and places of interest. The islands have plenty of white sandy beaches.

A large cruise ship terminal was just build. This allows cruise ships to make port in the capital city of Basseterre. Most of the tourist are from the US. Most of the nations 46,000 inhabitants works in the tourist industry.
