All Inclusive Cayman Islands Resorts and Vacations

caymanislands beach resorts The Cayman Islands are a British Oversees Territory consisting of three main islands. The islands are Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman. Grand Cayman is the largest island. The islands are located in the western Caribbean just south of Cuba.

The islands are flat with a few hills. The Cayman Islands are the tips of large submerged mountains with large coral reefs surrounding most of the islands. The have a warm tropical climate and even warmer waters making the Cayman Islands ideal for water sports, snorkeling and Scuba diving.

Seven Mile Beach is where all the hotels are at on Grand Cayman. There hotel options range from 5 Star Luxury resorts to more inexpensive options. Lodging and food in the Cayman Islands tends to be a little more expensive than other Caribbean islands. Many of the hotels offer services for the tourist. The hotels are not the high rise type but more smaller properties.

The primary attraction for tourists is the Scuba Diving and Snorkeling. If you are not interested in one of these two activities, another island may be a better choice. The islands provide some of the best, if not the best diving in all of the Caribbean. The sharp drop offs create for great “wall” diving. The coral reefs are excellent along with the visibility, clarity, temperature and services.

Cayman Islands accommodate cruise ships from many operators. Most of the tourists arrive from the US and European countries. The population is about 52,000 most of which are employed by the tourism industry.
