Cancun is located in Mexico on northern tip of the Yucatan peninsula. The resort area consists of a thin strip of sandy peach connected by bridge to the mainland at both ends. The weather in Cancun is ideal for the visitor looking for a warm tropical retreat. The temperature in the wet season ( May through December ) is in the high 80’s and low 90’s. The dry season is from January to May where the average temperature is usually in the mid 80’s. The humidity is around 70% year round and higher when it rains.
